Perhaps behind my logic and reasoning towards disbelieving the concept of God, particularly the Christian God as I was raised Christian, is that I refuse to accept that it was not my mother who created everything that I am across the whole spectrum of being. I owe my existence to her magic, and I cannot - be it stupidity or stubbornness - subscribe to any notion which disempowers her in favour of faith in an omnipotent, masculine figure. Thus, I will not support any religious doctrine where a belief founded by men attempts to steal the miraculous nature which rightfully and solely belongs to women. I think this psychologically, in part, influences my appreciation of scientific theories of creation such as Darwinism. For it's a return to Mother Nature, the feminine, for answers regarding our existence.
