She's a sunrise

I've met a woman; she's a sunrise. I know that’s unoriginal to say, but I can’t think of anything that describes her as perfectly. Her presence is uplifting, illuminating - warming. I've known her for some time too, although it’s only now that we’re really beginning to undress one another; and that’s what I mean by saying I've met a woman. Because as I learn about her history and darkness, who she is when no one is looking - what I'm experiencing is a powerful force beyond anything I’ve ever encountered. And the closer I move towards it, towards her, I feel a part of myself being destroyed. I'm left naked, standing as a man embracing love. And I know it’s love because I want nothing from her, and expect nothing of her; I'm just enjoying the sunrise.
