We should work together

We should work together. We should really get over these egocentric foundations laid upon us by insecure governments and immature cultures that have us believe we're anything but human, anything but family. It's this system we've developed that creates unhealthy and predominantly self-driven individuals drugged by consumerism that's causing such a mess. I'm unsure, you see, how long we can keep this up for - living as pretenders; liars afraid to accept and display all that we are as we uphold an identity we know to be a facade. It's either we all turn inwards and confront the trauma within our history as a means to overcome ourselves, or we proceed with finding nothing but short-lived pleasures in surface-level pursuits as we obsess over the material world, a world which cannot continue to coexist with this planet.
